Dr. Johnson is trained in a variety of empirically-researched approaches including acceptance-commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive-behavioral (CBT), and interpersonal therapy (IPT). She also incorporates play with younger children to help bring about positive change. Therapy goals and strategies are individualized to support each individual’s concerns while also nurturing their strengths. Presenting issues for treatment may include the following:

Dr. Johnson is a self-pay provider. Cash, check, and credit cards are accepted.

Dr. Johnson is a Clinical Psychologist specializing in the assessment and treatment of childhood and adolescent mental disorders. She has over 15 years of experience in the assessment of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and emotional and behavioral disorders including depression, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), oppositional defiant disorder, and childhood anxiety disorders. Dr. Johnson has worked for several years teaching families effective parenting techniques and interaction styles. Dr. Johnson also has significant experience in the use of acceptance-commitment therapy and cognitive-behavioral therapy to help adult women struggling with depression and anxiety.
